HISTORY |
1987 - Creation of CEFEM as a Limited Company
by its main shareholder Georges FANGIER.
1990 - CEFEM changes legal statut and becomes a Public Limited Company of 500 000 F capital.
1993 - Setting up of a computer-aided management system.
1994 - Setting up of Quality Manual according to ISO 9002 norm.
1995/1996 - Construction of news building (1000m²) and transfert of the activity.
1998 - Extension of factory building (600m²).
1999 - Acquisition and transfert of the activity visible cut off switches from the FERRAZ company.
1999 - Setting up of a web site http://www.cefem.fr
1999/2000 - Creation of a Research & Development department.
The 1rst of January 2000 - Increase in Capital to 435,000 Euros.
2000 - Increase of sales force to a national and international level.
2001 - Increase of the factory building covering a 2000m² area.
2002 - Updating of Quality Manual according to ISO 9001 version 2000 norm.
2003 - Strenghtening of test capacity.
2005 - Reinforcements of the Research and Development team
2005 - Creation and opening of CEFEM Romania plant
2007 - Extension of premises with strengthening of: R & D department through the creation of testing laboratories, and the sales force department
2007 - CEFEM is 20 years old.
2008 - Obtaining certification to ISO 9001 version 2000.
